A Keith Review – Podcast Episode 1

Welcome to Episode 1 of ‘A Keith Review’, a series of podcasts I am doing to share my learning of nutrition, food and cooking.

These reviews are based on a simple cycle of learning that I have used throughout my career in education.

It’s based on 3 principles:

  1. Learning by doing
  2. Learning by reflecting
  3. Learning by sharing

My cycle of learning basically looks like this.

My Learning Cycle
My Learning Cycle

The 4 main elements of the cycle are

  • Get new information
  • Create ideas
  • Act
  • Reflect

Sharing information, ideas and reflections runs right through the cycle and can happen at any stage.

You can join the cycle at any point and as learning tends to be organic, shooting off in all directions, it is not something to follow strictly, but to use as a guide.
